Drivers Ed Course

Are we Certified by the state of Tennessee?
Yes, Ready2Drive is licensed and certified by the state of Tennessee.
When do I need to pay?
The in-car driving lessons cannot be scheduled until the balance is paid in full.
Who is eligible to Road Test with R2D?
Students who complete the classroom and behind the wheel training can take the road test with us. Passing the Road Test is not guaranteed. A student must be at least 15 1/2 to take the road test.
What ages are the classroom packages?
Teenagers from 15 to 18 can take the classroom packages. Students that have applied for a hardship license may take at 14 years old.
(Private lessons are open to everyone)
Will I get a certificate of completion for Insurance Discount?
Only students that complete the 30 hours of classroom and driving will receive a certificate of completion.
Does my location matter?
We service Sumner, Robertson, Wilson and most of Davidson County. If you live outside of our area, we can meet you at our Hendersonville or Mount Juliet locations.
Do you need a Permit?
You do not need a permit to drive with Ready2Drive. For those under 18, the 6 month (180 days) requirement will not start until you get the permit.
When will the Driving Sessions occur?
Students will schedule the simulators and driving sessions after they complete the classroom portion.
